Someone visiting me

Last week my girlfriend came to visit me and we were in Dublin enjoying St Paddy's day, it was very amazing to see the people in the street during the parade but when the parade finished all the people disappeared from the street, in Spain is very different because all the parties are in the street, doesn't matter if the party is religious or not religious, could be because we have good weather during most part of the year but I like more the party in the street.

The F1

I'm very excited because next week start the F1 Championship with Fernando Alonso as one of the favourites to win the title at the end of the season. This year he run in a big team as is Ferrari, and everybody knows that he just need a normal car to do big things.

Edinburgh

Hi there!

Using the opportunity that the Erasmus is giving to me I try to visit the most places as the money allow me, the last place was Edinburgh, capital city of Scotland.
We were 8 students all of us Erasmus and most of us Spanish (Sorry Anton xD) , the travel started last Monday the 22nd in Cork where we took a plane to Dublin and from there to Edinburgh.
When we arrived to Edinburgh it was almost at noon and we took a taxi to go to the hostel, the hostel was in the city centre, it is a colourful youth hostel and I think that all of us liked it.
We plane to visit some of the most important tourist places like the castle, museums, etc. and we met also the night of Edinburgh that was lively in spite of being weekdays.
Because of the travel we miss some classes but I think we can catch up our classmates working a little bit at home.

Claudia's birthday

Last Saturday was the birthday of my flatmate Claudia and we did a big party in a flat here in Edenhall (This is the name of the residence where I'm living here in Cork), all the erasmus students came to the party and I don't know how many people we were there but 50 more or less. After the party we went to the city center to a pub called "Old Oak" where we were dancing and drinking beers.
I think was the best erasmus party in the whole year.

Jameson Distillery

Last weekend I was with some of the new erasmus visiting the Jameson Distillery in Middleton, where we spend all of our time inside the distillery, doing the tour and drinking some whisky.
At the end of the tour the guide ask for some volunteers to try different kind of whisky (Johnnie Walker, Jameson and Jack Daniel's, and we taste the different smells and flavours between each others, and at the end the give to us a "title" of Jameson tasters.
It was a really good Jameson experience.

This is my first post and I'm going to introduce myself a little bit.
My name is Francisco Carmona and I was born in Valencia(Spain) but now I'm living in Cork as Erasmus student.
The principal goal of this blog is get some marks for one of my lectures, Fundamentals web development, this work has to be done by all the students.
I would like to take this opportunity to tell you about my experience as Erasmus and post some news or silly little facts.
